My first experience at getting a console at launch went down in flames. I was told by on employee who works at costco that they would be coming in sunday morning and to get there early. Well i was there at 7 am this morning. I was the first person there and went in so excited about getting it and it turns out they won't be getting any in until monday or tuesday. Yes I should have called to see if they were coming in on time I suppose. But they knew that people were waiting outside in the cold for nothing. Thank you costco :(

Alina has turned 10!! The teen years slowly approch That was a quick decade.The big "one oh" I told her to just think that in 90 years she'll be 100!! She is doing a lot better in school this last week.
Star is learning her letters. its funny when she will see one she recognizes." Hey! There is one of my letters daddy!" Slowly getting ready for kindergarden! Yikes both kids in school!
Cathy is going to be graduating from collage in June!! I am so proud of her for doing this. And happy that she has made new friends

Lets see what has been going on. The wife is going to collage, this has been the harderst term yet. I look forward to getting back to normal soon.
Work has been going well, I get to go to Texas at the end of the month. It is my 15 year anniversary and I get some sort of honor at the yearly meeting
One of my old friend from the mall stopped by the other day, I havn't seen her in a while so It was good.
I have been in high tech heaven these past few weeks. I edited our wedding video and put it on a dvd and made a music video with the footage too, I really like how it turned out.

This was a pretty good Christmas time.
Christmas eve was a long day as I had to work open to close by myself. It was worth it to get the weelend off. So I was excited as a little kid when I got off friday night. Got home and Cathy bought pizza for dinner so we had a little pizza and then the girls picked out a present to open. WE overdid it with them but it was fun.
Then Christmas day we all got up early and opened the rest. Has breakfast then headed over to my parents house. Yay more presents. The girls had too many toys now. I got a cool toy as well. It is by aiptek, It is a mp3 palyer ,voice recorde,r web cam, digital still camera, and digital video camera, Cool!! Then mom made a awesome turkey dinner. My bother in-law got a nice poker set so we all played poker, It was more fun than I thought it would be. We played again news years eve but it wasn'r as fun. losing real money kinda sucks. plus i didn't win a hand for about an hour.

I tried for a better job and failed. Target has a distribution center really close and I learned they were hiring. This is a HUGE place that services what..70 stores i think good pay great benifits. Even though I like my job I know that I can get somthing better. Scary as it was i went for it. I applied and was told I would get a phone call(good) or a letter(bad)within 3 weeks.After a month a finnaly get a phone call....for SEASONAL WORK!! UGGGG. Now do I interview for seasonal and take a chance they will hire me for regular work. I have a family to support. It was a hard and it would turn out moot decision. I went to the interview and got a letter the next week. I didn't get it. i don't know if thats good or bad. But it is dissapointing.

I hate it when work stress gets me at home. My employee Mike called me at home and asked me to call the other employee Chris. I called him up and he told me that he is interviewing for a job that would conflict with his current job. Thats fine I know he needs the money. But now I have to make a new schudule tommorow. Which means now I get to spend my evening worrying about how I am going to juggle the schedule when I get to work tommorow. This makes me glad that I applied for another job at the target distribution center. More pay and less stress. I hope I get it, I think anyway
On a more positive note my first shippment of comics from mailorder comics arrived. They were in great condition. looking forword to getting more next month

I've drawn a few things before and tried it again last week, I used a cheap charcoal pencil I found at Fred Meyers. I liked how it looks so far maybe I'll finish the mountain someday

My wife was working on her back patio ponds and I was sitting in the porch swing with Star. She then asked me if boys poop their pants?!

it was quite nice to have the 4th fall on my day off. We made plans to go to newport to see the fireworks over Yaquina bay. My sister and her family and friends were also going. we left town around 11 and arrived around 12:30. We stopped at the park with the Yaquina lighthouse and i tookl a couple pics of the bay bridge and the view of the jetty's that lead into the bay

After that we decided to go to debot bay the worlds smallest harbor. The place to go for gift shops. and salt water taffy

By then we were all getting hungry so it was time to head back to Newport for our picnic lunch. The wind was really cold and that put a little damper on the fun but we went to the beach anyway

The fireworks at the end of the day were really awesome and I used the chance to play with my new digital cams settings. I increased the shutter to get a couple shots of the fireworks and the newport bayfront from the southbeach jetty
It took about 2 hours to get home. We spent one 3rd of that time on the jetty bumper to bumper on the jetty waiting our turn to get on the freeway. I was so glad to get home around 1 am

Well I'm 35 now. Had a fun week. Last thursday took the family out of town to do a little shopping. Had a great lunch and fun was had by all. Last friday the wife took me out to Izz's for lunch and we went to a place I havn't been into for about 10 years. An honest to goddness comic book store. My employee collects comics and I used to but stopped around 94. Well after he let me borrow a bunch of his trade paperbacks I'm sucked back in! I found a great online preorder store that gives great discounts.
Sunday my parents had kinda a birthday brunch for my sister and I. Thats right I have a twin sister. I got supermaio advance 4 and The Ultimates vol 1 and 2. Wife and kids got me Klonio empire of dreams.
Before I ate I thought I should have a weigh-in.It's been about a month since I weighed myself. I was kinda afriad to but I thought I had been sticking to my diet pretty well. I was right I've lost another 5 pounds! Lost a total of 35 pounds!!! Wow, I never thought that would be possible.

My day just went down the tubes.
Earlier today at work I was busy with a lot of customers. Then a kid in a wheelchair asked me if he could leave it up front. Well it is busy and IO didn't want anyone tripping on it. I didn't want to trip on it. So I said no. I didn't say he couldn't come in. But he left anyway. Later as I was about to leave the kid and his mom came back. She was complainig that because her kid had a wheelchair he couldn't come in the store. I never said that. I tried to explain to her that I never said that but she was allready on her way out. Later at home Chris(my employee) calls. The mother is very upset and Chris was trying to explain to her. Why did she wait till later, I was there and could have talked to hermyself. I told Chris to ask her and I would be glad to call her myself tommorow. Nope, she did called my district manager instead. I just got off the phone with him and he took care of it. This whole thing was a big misunderstanding on her part. Then she wanted to make a big drama out of it. Why did the kid ask to leave it up front? Why didn't he use it in the store? Why didn't I put it in the back of the store? Sigh

Took the wife out on a date sunday and we want and saw Harry potter 3. All in all I liked it. These kids acting gets better and the other cast are all really good. I loved seeing Gary oldman as Black. The fact that they changed all the sets and location was really distracting tho. I wish they had stuck closer to the book, and I wish that Harry had the confrontation with the Dursleys. I think I well like it more the next time I see it, of course I will buy it on dvd, there was a lot to like also
Went to work monday to find 2 of my games had been broken into. I had to repair both of them and of course the dm showed up. Now I like him and enjoy talking about this and that but he tends to take over my office, on monday I have a lot of paperwork to do and that makes it harder to get done. Glad I am home now ahhhh feels so much better
